Prof. Dr. Mark Pauly

Mark Pauly is an associate professor at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL, where he founded the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory. In 2010, he initiated the scientific research on the interaction of light and form that enabled the realization of sol.id.

Romain Testuz

Romain Testuz is a research assistant in the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory focused on digital fabrication and Computational Caustic design. He received his Master degree in Computer Science from EPFL in 2013.

Dr. Yuliy Schwartzburg

Yuliy Schwartzburg is a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory. He received his PhD in Computer Science from EPFL in 2015 focusing on Computer Graphics with applications to Architectural Geometry and Digital Fabrication.

Prof. Dieter Dietz

Dieter Dietz is an architect and researcher based in Zurich and Lausanne. He is associate professor at EPFL and director the ALICE laboratory (Atelier de la conception de l’espace).  His practice, dieterdietz.org founded in 2012, engages in projects throughout Switzerland and Europe.

Sony Devabhaktuni

Sony Devabhaktuni is an architect based in Paris. He is part of the design research team in the ALICE laboratory of the EPFL and a studio director in the first year architecture program.
